Anna De Luca [1928 - 2017]

Lansing Age 89, our loving mother, nanna and family matriarch was called home to the Lord, on February 5, 2017. Born January 12, 1928, in Cosenza, Italy, Anna worked for many years at the Michigan National Bank Tower Building. She was a devoted member of St. Mary Cathedral, and her faith was a very important part of her life. She was also devoted to San Francesco Di Paola. She enjoyed gardening and growing flowers. Her family was her greatest joy. She was known for her wonderful Italian cooking and baking, which she loved doing for family and friends. Surviving are her son, Antonio "Tony" (Theresa) De Luca; 2 grandchildren, Silvio "Vincent" De Luca, and Anna Frances De Luca all of Lansing and many nieces and nephews in Lansing, Italy, and Canada. Anna was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Silvio; son, Vincent De Luca; parents Francesco & Rosina (De Marco) Litrenta; 3 sisters, Assunta, Delina, and Gaetana; 5 brothers, Eugenio, Oresto, Natale, Santo, and Silvio. Visitation is from 2-4, 6-8 P.M. Wednesday, Feb. 8, with a 7:00 P.M. Rosary Service at the Tiffany Funeral Home, 3232 W. Saginaw, Lansing. Prayers will be 9:00 A.M. Thursday at the funeral home with the Funeral Liturgy at 10:00 A.M. Thursday, February 9, 2017, at St. Mary Cathedral, 219 Seymour, Lansing with Fr. Mark Inglot presiding.
