IN MEMORIAM

Rosemary F. DeRose, 82, passed away peacefully on April 16, 2024 with her family by her side. She was born on June 28, 1941, in Lansing, Michigan to Frank and Jenny Fabiano. Rosemary graduated from Sexton High School and went on to get her cosmetology license. She met the love of her life, Frank, in 1959 and they were married on April 15, 1961; enjoying 63 years of marriage. Together, the owned and operated Frank Antonio Hairstyle for 47 years.

Rosemary is survived by her husband, Frank; sons, Joseph (Margarita) DeRose and Frank (Jackie) DeRose, Jr.; 8 grandchildren, and 10 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and grandson, Douglas DeRose.

Rosemary loved to travel and her and Frank traveled to Italy several times. She also enjoyed shopping, playing bingo, and especially cooking holiday meals. She cherished the friends that she made through work, travel, and the close knit neighborhood that they lived in. Rosemary loved the time she spent with her family especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

The visitation for Rosemary will be held on Sunday, April 21 from 4:00 to 8:00 pm at the Gorsline Runciman Tiffany Chapel, 3232 W. Saginaw St. Lansing with a Rosary being prayed at 7:00 pm. A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, April 22, at 1:30 pm, with the family receiving friends one hour prior to the Mass. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery.
